CACAO CEREMONI

Join my cacao ceremonies, where self-development, community and openness is to be found.

This is a place where you can allow yourself to enter a sacred universe of deep calmness, a safe space for learning and leaning inwards.

The cacao ceremony is an ancient and sacred ritual created in community with others.

Raw cacao is harvested and bought most often from Peru (or Bali, where I traveled and brought the raw cacao home to Denmark) under sustainable conditions for both nature and the employees.

This type of cacao has gone through less processing, and contain more nutrients. It is therefore also thicker, more sour and bitter in taste, and should preferably only be sweetened with vanilla beans, honey or dates, in order to preserve the raw and pure taste.

WHAT IS RAW CACAO?

Cacao has an extremely high content of:
Magnesium - Involved in many of the body's most important processes, and supports i.a. heart, brain and digestive functions and helps our muscles to relax. Dopamine - stimulates our motivation and feelings of well-being. Serotonin and Histamine - Neurotransmitters associated with well-being and happiness, and counteract stress, anxiety and depression.

Anandamide / "The bliss chemical" - Released in the brain during pleasure. Ananda comes from Sanskrit and means "bliss". Anandamide is a cannabinoid (just like THC in cannabis - some feel high on cacao, others don't (cacao must not be associated with euphoric drugs though! but the greater devotion to the spirit of cacao, the greater its effect).

Tryptophan - Helps to form serotonin in the brain, and also helps to produce melatonin, which regulates sleep. Theobromine (faintly resemble caffeine for the body) stimulates the blood circulation by relaxing the muscles, which increases the blood flow in the body and brain, and provides a mild warmth and slightly invigorating effect in the body.

Phenylethylamine (PEA) - Activates neurotransmitters in the parts of the brain that supports concentration, thereby strengthening your focus.

When we are happy or in love, the PEA content in the brain also increases, as well as when we are arroused.
